Burdalux
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, bookings, and services offered through Burdalux.com. By placing an order, booking an experience, or engaging creative services, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. About Burdalux
Burdalux is a UK-based sole trader business offering:
- Candles, scent-related products, and candle accessories
- Dried botanicals, floral products, and paper goods including cards
- Sensory sound experiences and events
- Creative services including design, photography, and creative direction

2. Orders and Payment
All orders and bookings are subject to availability and acceptance.
Prices are listed in GBP and may change at any time.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing for creative services.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary, including in cases of pricing errors or suspected misuse.
3. Shipping and Delivery
We aim to dispatch physical product orders within the timeframe stated on the website.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary. Burdalux is not responsible for delays caused by couriers or external factors.
It is your responsibility to ensure that delivery details are accurate at the time of ordering.
4. Returns and Refunds (Products)
Due to the nature of our products, including candles, botanicals, accessories, and paper goods, we do not accept returns for change of mind unless otherwise stated.
If you receive a damaged or faulty item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
We may not be able to accept returns on items that are perishable, fragile, or made to order unless they arrive damaged.
Approved refunds or replacements will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Product Care and Use
Our products are designed for intended use only.
Candles must be used safely and never left unattended while lit.
Dried botanicals are natural products and may vary in colour, shape, and longevity.
Burdalux is not responsible for misuse of products once delivered.
6. Experiences and Event Bookings
When booking a Burdalux Sounds experience, you are reserving a place in a limited-capacity session.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
Participation
- You are participating voluntarily
- You are responsible for your own wellbeing during the session
- You will follow any guidance provided during the experience
Burdalux experiences are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
7. Health and Safety
You may be asked to provide health and wellbeing information prior to attending.
By submitting this information, you confirm that it is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
Burdalux reserves the right to refuse participation if it is believed that attendance may not be suitable or safe.
8. Cancellations and Transfers (Events)
- Bookings are non-refundable
- You may request to transfer your place to another person with reasonable notice
- Requests to transfer are subject to approval
If Burdalux needs to cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered a transfer to a new date or a full refund.
9. Late Arrival and Attendance
Experiences begin at the stated time.
Late entry may not be permitted once a session has started.
No refunds will be issued for missed sessions due to late arrival or non-attendance.
10. Photography
Photography may take place during experiences for use across Burdalux platforms including website, social media, and marketing materials.
You will be informed in advance and may opt out if you prefer not to be included.
11. Creative Services (Studio)
Scope of Work
All services are provided based on an agreed scope outlined prior to the start of a project. Any additional work outside of this scope may be subject to additional fees.
Payment
A deposit may be required to secure a booking, with the remaining balance due as agreed prior to delivery of final work.
Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable once a project has been confirmed.
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, Burdalux reserves the right to charge for work completed.
Revisions
Reasonable revisions may be included where agreed. Additional revisions may incur further charges.
Intellectual Property
All work remains the property of Burdalux until full payment has been received.
Burdalux retains the right to use completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on Burdalux.com remains the property of Burdalux and may not be used without permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Burdalux is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under UK law.
14. Website Use
We reserve the right to update or change content, pricing, and availability at any time.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
